Fort D'Acre Reserve is an exclusive private game reserve situated at the mouth of the Great Fish River. It is a beautiful scenic reserve with open grasslands, coastal dune forest, rivers and access to a pristine beach.

With these varied habitats it is a host to a variety of animals including white rhino, buffallo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, oribi, caracal, jackal and a large number of antelope species. Over 250 species of birds can be seen.
