Equipment / Tack

We use western-style Trail Ranger saddles on our safaris. Each horse has its own tack therefore the saddles mould to the individual shape of the horse. This ensures a comfortable experience for horse and rider.

Our tack is maintained with the utmost care and is always in prime condition. Before each ride Lloyd personally checks that the horses are properly tacked up, that the girths and stirrups are in order and that the bridles are properly fitted.

Our cavesson bridles have a jointed pelham and curbchain,  so that the horses can be ridden with a very loose rein. This keeps their mouths soft and responsive.
